Education in Emergencies vacant positions

Save the Children is the world's leading independent organization for children. We work in 120 countries. We save children's lives; we fight for their rights; we help them fulfil their potential. We work together, with our partners, to inspire breakthroughs in the way the world treats children and to achieve immediate and lasting change in their lives.

Since our founding in 1919, Save the Children has responded to the needs of children in crisis around the world. In 2015, Save the Children was involved in 68 responses worldwide in 47 countries targeting more than 7 million children with vital humanitarian assistance. Save the Children Norway (Redd Barna) is engaged in Save the Children Internationals delivery of humanitarian response, both at operational and policy level. This includes emergency responses as well as protracted crisis, Disaster Risk Reduction and programming for longer term solutions for the affected populations.

Education is Save the Children Norways main focus area. In order to meet growing demand for Education in Emergencies specialists we are currently expanding our Education in Emergencies team with a Roving Education in emergencies Advocacy advisor who will be deployed to support Save the Children Country Offices on new or longer-term emergency responses worldwide.
