The role 

You will be a part of our team of 8 developers in Bergen. As our Test Lead you will sole responsible for test and quality at Holberg EEG in close collaboration with our CTO and ScrumMaster. You will function as the test manager and the tester. You will have the opportunity to shape your own position, but the main tasks consist of:

Quality Testing

• Responsible for comprehensive testing and coordinate closely with the development team and oversee product quality 
• Prepare and execute test cases 
• Scrum testing
• Defect management 
• Develop user stories and acceptance criteria

Test Management

• Develop and maintain test standards and test procedures
• Participate in the release process to ensure that the solution meets the business requirements

Your experience
We are looking for a person with passion for quality testing and test management. You have either experience as a developer or as a tester with a business background. We are open for both senior and junior candidates. It is an advantage if you have ISTQB Foundation or similar, and experience from cloud solutions, but it is not a requirement. You have a University degree within computer science or business. Experience with medical device software or other software in a highly regulated environment is considered a strong merit, but not a requirement.

About Holberg EEG
EEG measures electrical brain activity and is mostly used in the diagnosis and follow-up of patients with epilepsy, coma and dementia. The challenge with today’s methods is that the results of EEG studies are commonly described in non-standardized free text using local language and personal note-styles. This creates variation in EEG interpretations obscuring the message, and it precludes the opportunity of searching databases of EEGs for specific findings, leaving the descriptions largely inaccessible for scientific research.
