Test Manager and Software Test Engineer

FARA is facing strong international expansion with new products and features. We are now seeking highly motivated Test Manager and Software Test Engineer.

Test Manager

Role and Responsibilities:

• Lead a Team of Software Testers across projects and locations
• Define methods, guidelines and tools to be used by Software Testers
• Analyze the requirements and estimate test effort
• Cooperate with Product Owners and Project Management
• Define quality measures that monitor the overall level of product quality
• Define the test environment in which in-house tests will be performed
• Evaluate product risks
• Analyze and approve Requirement Specifications before any technical specification work is initialized
• Analyze and approve Test Plans for FAT and SAT
• Define the "ready to ship" criteria for the product

Requirements:

• Higher education (preferably IT)
• Relevant experience as Test Manager (2+ years)
• Leadership skills - experience in motivating and inspiring others to excel
• Excellent knowledge of the testing process
• Highly developed communication skills in English, both written and verbal

Software Test Engineer

Role and Responsibilities:

• Participate in the integrated software development teams
• Design and execute Test Cases based on requirements
• Write automated tests and implement frameworks for automation, mockups, emulators etc.
• Scripting for environment settings/maintenance
• Test coverage for web-based, Linux-based and mobile applications
• Requirement analysis and effort estimation

Requirements:

• Higher education (preferably IT)
• Relevant experience as software tester (at least 1 year)
• Experience in building test framework
• Scripting skills
• SQL data management skills
• Good communication skills in English, both written and verbal

Preferred skills:

• Experience with Linux-based and/or Android/iOS applications
