As Fishbones Field Engineer, you will be responsible of planning, execution and after action tasks related to Fishbones rig operations. Your main workplace is onshore and offshore rigs around the world, but you will also be asked to perform duties at the Stavanger Headquarter, district offices and client meetings in the various countries. Fishbones currently have operations ongoing in Saudi Arabia, Oman, Kuwait and Abu Dhabi. However, plans are also made for operations in Europe and Asia.
Open and continuous communication is regarded as critical in Fishbones. It is important that you have good communication with the operations manager, the headquarter organization, region office, clients and the rig members on each specific rig. Ability to show initiative and to convert challenges into solutions are key attributes. Internal training will be offered. Due to the nature of this role, you will be required to travel worldwide. Fishbones is looking to recruit one field engineer located in Norway and one field engineer based in one of the Middle East countries, both position for work globally.

Tasks

Your main responsibility is to supervise installation of Fishbones stimulation system on the rig
Fishbones supervision includes oversight of other suppliers' contribution during the operation
Fishbones supervision includes close cooperation with the customer representatives on the rig
You will support Operation Manager in planning, execution and after action review (AAR)
Duties include preparation and maintenance of the equipment including logistic before and after operation
It is your responsibility to ensure that operations are conducted in accordance with Fishbones Health, Safety and Environment policies
It is your responsibility to ensure that all operations procedures are followed and adhered to in accordance with Fishbones quality system
You will be exposed to client interaction in planning, execution and post well follow up

Qualifications

Relevant engineering degree
Field experience from completions, stimulation, pumping and/or similar
Minimum 3 years' experience

Education

College / University, Bachelor's degree
College / University, Master's degree
Relevant degree required

Language

Norwegian
English
